You must be trying to do this on story mode. When playing through the story mode, you cannot have anyone (Except the love of your sim’s life) above friend. Once you finish the story, you unlock many items and the ability to use Shipwrecked and Single as a second neighborhood. Did this help?
This trailer/small vid is for the PC version and not for the Wii or PS2.
And when i wanna be best friends i can’t get higher than 59 on the daily meter and 29 on the other one.

The sims stories are seperate games to just the normal sims 2 games. (not expantions)
They are sort of like the sims, but with more of a game story line. Not just living in your own home, going to work each day. You have to learn to build huts and explore the island. Choose to stay at the island and have families, build mansions out of sticks and leaves on the beach, or work towards getting your sims saved and off the island (so you finish the game).

I want the “austronesian” songs! I haved this game, but now owned by my brother. I want at least the songs that play when we are in the “mode barter” (well, so in Brazil, /modo escambo/) or viewing the Island (neighborhood). This game came out of the market here a few months. D:

hm i have a ? for this game.If ofcourse have sims2 and most expasion packs i know the expsion packs dont work on stroie games but will the gsme it self still work,
to killergerms101: The Sims Stories are like the sims 2, but you dont have to buy the base sims 2 game, its mostly for laptop users, expansion packs also dont work on the sims stories.
