Iraq war play scoops four Olivier theater awards

- The Society’s special award – Alan Ayckbourn.

    as a sometime amateur actor and fan of the Royal Highland Regiment i found the above post/article interesting but mystifying in syntax and vocabulary. as an american, i thought it read as if translated from a foreign language. are our Englishs really that divergent?
